If I do a 3D Ultrasound at 14 Weeks Can I Find Out My Baby’s Gender?

If we do a  3D/4D ultrasound at 14 weeks, you CAN find out your baby’s gender. There are certain circumstances, beyond our control, in which the baby’s gender may not be visible. These circumstances include the position of your baby, mom’s hydration level and if gender is blocked by umbilical cord or baby’s leg(s). If for some reason we cannot determine gender for one of these reasons then we will bring you back within a week on a weekday for no additional charge.

What will we see at a 14 week 4d Ultrasound?

At your 14 week 3D/4D Ultrasound you will be able to see your entire baby as they will be about the size of a nectarine. You will also be able to see your baby moving in real time which is amazing, since most moms can’t feel movement yet. Our tech will be able to determine gender and will explain to you how it was found. If requested we can also provide the gender in an envelope if you want to find out during a gender reveal. What does a 14 week gender scan consist of?

It depends on the package you select. We have 3 to choose from that range in price, time in session and keepsake items such as printed pictures, videos etc. Please go to our gender reveal page for more details. But all of our packages let you see your baby  in 2D and 3D, come with prints and allow you to listen to the baby’s heartbeat. 

The difference between these view modes is:

2D is the flat, black and white image you commonly get at your doctors. Often you solely see a view of the baby’s profile.

3D is the golden color image that shows your baby’s face more defined.  In a 3D ultrasound you see volume– cheeks, shape of the nose, shape of the baby’s face and multi-dimensional image of the face and body.

HD or 5D is the most realistic “skin like” image you can get of your baby.  In an HD or 5D (same thing) you begin to see shows developing skin tones, more refined features.  It is the closest thing you can get to being there with the baby.

4D is live motion video, if baby puts their hand on their nose, we see this; everything that mom is feeling inside is reflected in a live video stream.  We see it all in real time on screen.  it is an experience that no one ever forgets.

Do you offer a 19 week ultrasound gender test?

Yes, you can schedule you for an ultrasound gender test at 19 weeks and also at any time during your pregnancy as long as you are at least 14 weeks. So essentially you can do a 14 week gender ultrasound test, a 15 week gender ultrasound test, a 16 week gender ultrasound test, a 17 week gender ultrasound test, a 18 week gender ultrasound test, a 19 week gender ultrasound test, and even a 20 week gender ultrasound test if you would like.
