When during my pregnancy should I schedule my appointment?
This depends on how far along you are and what you would like to see. We have a general guideline below:

Here is the breakdown:
6-14 Weeks- Heartbeat and general shape of your baby
14-18 Weeks+ – Gender can be determined and you get to see your babies’ entire body!
24-26 Weeks – View your baby and Great time to see both parts of the body and face in one picture. Because baby is more developed you can now see details in both
28-36 Weeks- Your baby is almost ready for their debut! Details, Details, DETAILS. These pictures cannot be skipped.
In our opinion every stage is exciting and the bundle deal is the best to have memories of your baby’s entire journey. (Click Here for Details)
What is the difference in images?
2D – this is in black and white and shows your baby’s basic form.
3D – this is in color and shows more lifelike detail of you baby
4D – see your baby move in real time without delay.
HD Live – this is the most realistic view of your baby, showing accurate skin tone and texture.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, we schedule by appointment only, but we try to take same-day appointments when possible.
Will my Tummy Vision ultrasound replace the ultrasound that I receive from my Healthcare Provider?
No. An elective ultrasound does not replace the ultrasound provided at your doctor’s office and pregnant woman must already be receiving prenatal care through their healthcare provider. Our ultrasounds are used for family bonding and are used to complement the full anatomical study that is completed by your Obstetrician or Prenatal Healthcare Provider.
Are Ultrasounds safe for my baby and me?
Extensive studies over 30 years have found that ultrasound has not been shown to cause any harm to mother or baby and we use the same frequency as your healthcare provider. Ultrasounds emit sound waves and listen for the return echo, similar to radar. This is how the beautiful image of you baby is generated.
What can I do to achieve the best ultrasound images?
First, pay attention to when your baby is most active during the day and try to schedule your appointment during that time. Second, pay attention to whether eating and drinking impact your baby's energy levels and try to eat or not eat right before your ultrasound. Sometimes a cold or sugary drink before your appointment can help stimulate the baby to move. Make sure you are fully hydrated. The more hydrated you are the better images we will get. We have found that hydration improves the clarity of your ultrasound images significantly.
How long does the 3D/4D ultrasound take?
This depends on the package selected and we list the approximate time in our services page. The ultrasound itself will last between 10-30 minutes. The remaining time will be used to choose the pictures of your baby you would like to print.
Will I always get a beautiful picture of my baby?
Usually in most cases, but not always. Sometimes if the baby is persistently looking face down, i.e. towards your spine it may be difficult to see the baby's face. If this happens, a repeat scan will usually succeed because the baby has turned to a favorable position. We make no promises that the images will be similar to those you might have seen elsewhere or even from our clinic, or that we can always meet everyone's expectations. Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestational age, position, amount of fluid, and mother's condition. We promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images of whatever parts of the baby that can be seen.
What if I want to purchase add-ons?
When you arrive at your appointment we will discuss our add-ons with you and answer any questions you may have. For certain items such as the DVD recording and heartbeat animal you must notify us prior to the start of your appointment as this is recorded during your viewing and cannot be done after. Also, please make sure to let your sonographer know if you want to purchase any add-ons (ie-pictures, USB drive, etc) before your appointment ends and you leave the viewing room.
How many people can come with me to my appointment?
We encourage you to bring your friends and family to make this experience even more memorable. We can easily accommodate up to 10 people in the viewing room but If you would like to invite a larger number of people for a longer session please contact our office about scheduling a gender reveal party.
What happens if my baby is not in the right position?
If your baby is not in a good position, we will try our best to get them moving. If your baby remains shy we will gladly offer you a rescan within two weeks at no additional charge.
